Individual Reintegration Agreement (IRO) UWV

Do you want to stay in control of your own reintegration? It is possible with Individual Reintegration Agreement (IRO) from UWV. Starting form 1 January 2004 you can chose yourself the reintegration company which will be helping you though the whole reintegration period. Reintegration approach should be is very individual and designed to answer your personal needs. UWV may suggest a number of reintegration companies, however it is totally up to the candidate to choose the reintegration company which suits you best qua their expertise, approach and work process. This reintegration company should however be an official supplier of UVW.

Requirements Individual Reintegration Agreement

Who is applicable for Individual Reintegration Agreement (IRO)? At this moment the general requirements Individual Reintegration Agreement (IRO) are the following:

  • You receive minimum 12 months WW benefit;
  • You receive WAO or WAJONG benefit;
  • You receive WW benefit for less than12 months, but CWI rated you into faze 2, 3 or 4.

Application Individual Reintegration Agreement (IRO) with Together Abroad

Inform your case manager/ coach that you would like to follow the IRO project
You can contact Together Abroad reintegration . After you have informed your coach that you want to apply for Individual Reintegration Agreement (IRO) you have 35 days to 'shop' for your reintegration agency.
If you have chosen Together Abroad, we design your reintegration plan. This plan is eventually sent to the UVW together with the Application Individual Reintegration Agreement (IRO) form for approval. If UWV agrees with the proposed integration plan, you start.

  • Support with application Individual Reintegration Agreement (IRO) at UWV
  • Help with designing the re-employment plan
  • Attention to the reason of unemployment and re-employment expectations
  • Information about regulations your rights and duties
  • Analysis of your strong and weak points
  • Career prospects analysis
  • Action plan to achieve career goals
  • Interview training
  • Help with searching and finding a new job (active job hunting)

How do I choose the IRO- company that suits me?

First of all make an appointment with a number of re-integration companies, so that you could compare their approach. Make clear for yourself what your personal expectations of an IRO project and a re-integration company are. Discuss all the important points during the intake meeting with the reintegration consultant. Ask the following questions to find out if the particular IRO–company suits your needs:

  • What kind of support/ help should I expect?
  • What is your approach?
  • How many sessions do I get? Are these sessions been given individually or in group sessions?
  • How experienced are the IRO consultants?
  • What is required/ necessary... for you to be successful in finding a job?
  • Why should I choose this IRO–company?
  • What exactly does IRO- company do for you? What do I need to do myself?

IRO Content: (differs per Reintegration Company)

  • Intake and reintegration plan
  • Get to know each other intake meeting
  • Discussing the needs and career goals and possibilities research
  • Designing re-integration plan
  • Intermediating
  • Vacancies search and active job hunting by reintegration specialist
  • Vacancies search and active job hunting on your own
  • Intensive coaching and trainings, help with interview, CV and motivation letters
  • Finding job and taking care after during the first period.
  • Placing and taking regular contact in the first period at a new work place.

PGB ( personal budget or persoonsgebonden budget)

With a personal budget (persoonsgebonden budget or PGB) you as a jobseeker can do what you want to get back to work. The PGB is provided by municipalities.
When you're entitle to a PGB, Together Abroad can assist you finding a job on the Dutch jobmarket. We support you with your reintegration activities. Your Municipalities can advice you to come to Together Abroad for your reintegration track.

Policies

  • Complaints policy
    In case the client is not satisfied with Together Abroad recintegration, he or she has a right to file a written complaint. This complaint should be dealt with within 4 weeks. The handling of the complaint is made by the employee not involved that the person on whose conduct the complaint relates, provided the conduct is not involved.   • Privacy policy
    We collect the personal information about the IRO clients. This information is protected. Only the employees of Together Abroad re-integration have access to this information. The personal information can be shared with the UWV and the potential employers. Reed the full text privacy policy in Dutch.
  • Non-attendance policy
    Foreseen leave: The client has to ask and discuss the leave permission for vacation with his job coach in advance Appointments, for example, with the family doctor, dentist or the paying authority shall not be considered lawful omission, nor as a family visit.

    Unforeseen absence. Unforeseen absence can be caused by physical illness and/or acute psychosocial problems (for example, overstrain); also private circumstances (the death of a close family member) may be the reason to the unforeseen absence. The customer should notify the jobcoach at least 30 mins prior to the meeting by email or phone and give a clear reason of absence. Read the full tekst about the non-attendance policy in Dutch.
