• The Account Manager Benelux will create, develop and close new business opportunities in the Benelux region.
• Manage existing accounts.
• Actively make phone calls on a daily basis in order to generate and to follow up leads.
• Visit prospects as well as clients.
• The candidate will be working as part of an international sales team.
Candidate Profile Account Manager Benelux
• Fluency in English and Dutch is required.
• Fluency in German and French is an advantage.
• 3 years experience in a similar role preferably from the distribution and manufacturing B2B environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in electronics, energy supply or similar field.
• Communication skills are required both externally with a client and internally between sales and with other departments (technical, sales assistants, logistics and finance).
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Proven ability to work with sales targets and achieve sales goals.
• Superb sales and customer service skills.
• Clear and confident phone manner.
• VRLA battery knowledge a plus but not required.
• Willing to travel in the Benelux region.
• Used or willing to work within a stressful environment where deadlines are constant.
• Committed and loyal personality.
