As Customer Relationship Coordinator (CRC) you are responsible for serving a defined group of Shell Chemicals customers by managing a commercial relationship and proactively liaise with other functions within Shell Chemicals to ensure the full range of services is provided.
You are the first point of contact for processing customer orders, queries and complaints. This includes order capture, commitment to orders, resolution of obstacles to commitment, order amendments, invoicing, cash collection, manage complaints, indirect tax and export related issues.
Together with the Account Executive you form a well functioning Customer Team aiming a certain level of customer satisfaction whilst managing costs versus service levels.
Working with e-Commerce tools, like Customer Lounge and Elemica, you assist customers with questions concerning these tools and actively promote e-Commerce.
Having ownership, together with the Account Executive, over the cash collection process you pro-actively ensure credit issues are resolved with support from the credit organization. The receivables processes need to run smoothly and overdue payments collected effectively without risking the relationship with customers.
The customer master data needs to be kept up to date, in systems and in files. Making sure that control, legal and fiscal requirements are met and that evidences/authorizations are kept for audit purpose.
The CRC liaises with haulers, transport and supply coordinators, and supply points (third party suppliers and depots) to ensure the customer orders are fulfilled safely, satisfactorily and problems are resolved efficiently and timely.
To optimize customers off take pattern with the cost of supply you occasionally manage stock levels at customer sites, either as consignment stock or through a supplier managed inventory system.
