The IT Technician is responsible for providing IT services and operational activities to our clients internal businesses and users.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Perform operational and support activities for IT services.
- Work with local teams to deliver a reliable service to the end-users.
- Take responsibility for specific technical subjects.
- Deployment, monitoring, maintenance, infrastructure development, upgrade and support of IT systems, including servers, PCs OS, hardware, software and peripherals.
- Ensure assets such as IT hardware, software and equipment are properly managed.
- Implement IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security disaster recovery, standards, purchasing and service provision.
- Develop business cases as appropriate, including justification and cost/benefit analysis for IT spending and initiatives.
- Assist in the development of the IT strategy by making recommendations.
