Cash Management Specialist
The Cash Management Specialist will be part of the Cash Management team within the Accounts Receivable and work closely together with other (Finance) departments located in our Amsterdam and foreign offices.
The main responsibilities are to reconcile bank and clearing accounts and to adhere to all SLAs and deadlines imposed on the Cash Management team for the responsibilities detailed below.
Key factors of success in this role are a good understanding of the business priorities, good transversal communication skills and an eye for detail.
Main tasks & responsibilities
• Daily reconciliation of bank accounts and cash clearing accounts ensuring accurate and timely postings
• Loading and processing of bank statements & ensuring minimal unallocated cash entries on daily basis
• Work together with the AR, AP and GL teams that the relevant cash management tasks are completed timely
• Perform GL Accounts reconciliations at month end closing
• Liaise with peers and colleagues across the business to create successful project roll outs and create best practice
• Ensure adherence to company policies and applicable governmental regulations
• Ensuring SoX compliance in the area of cash management
• Handle ad-hoc projects whenever required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
• MBO or higher education
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Good Oracle knowledge desirable
• Advanced Excel
• Knowledge of accounting procedures and techniques
• Highly organised and proactive
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Accurate with good attention to detail
• Team and service oriented approach
• Ability to analyse data and indentify trends
• Able to work under pressure, no 9 to 5 mentality
