Communications Officer
Location: The Hague
Salary band is EUR 35 000 – 38 000

The role
To support the work within our Global Communications and Marketing team we are looking to recruit a fulltime Communications Officer, based in The Hague. The focus of this role is to coordinate and manage different activities and projects that address the communications needs of our stakeholder community around the world. The successful candidate will need experience in all aspects of providing support to a busy team including the creation of high quality external and internal communications encompassing media relations, digital communications, internal communications, events management, printed literature, marketing campaigns, branding and corporate identity.

• Bachelor degree in communications and /or marketing;
• Proven communications experience;
• Experience of managing time sensitive projects;
• Ability to communicate with people at different levels/ cultures;
• Proven media relations experience; solid understanding of the (social)media landscape;
• Ability to write clearly for newsletters, brochures, websites etc;
• Highly proficient in computer skills;
• Experience within a not for profit sector is desirable;
• Good influencing skills and ability to develop effective working relationships;
• Good team player;
• Fluency in English required, French and Spanish are a plus.
