Financial Controller will have the responsibility to provide day-to-day financial support for Company’s construction project in APAC. The Financial controller will also be responsible for working with banks on the project financing (letter of credit), for controlling of subcontractors costs and responsible for Dutch compliance and reporting of the Company.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Develop, analyze, interpret and provide internal distribution of financial information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability and performance of the project.
• Provide services as an “Internal Auditor” assuring controls are being followed.
• Provide recommendations to the Management team on financial risks of the project
• Work closely with Project Director in preparing project progress reports and invoices for work performed
• Review contracts
• Record business transactions in the accounting system
• Analyze financial results of the Branch for the purpose of preparation of cumulative results on the project
• Review Subcontractors reports for work performed to ensure the timely billing of costs
• Analyze costs of the project versus budget
• Working with Letters of credit
• Prepare Cash flow for the project and Cash forecast
• Manage all project accounting data bases to ensure timely upkeep, security and control
• Direct partnering with auditors to defend the Company's accounting positions
• Monitoring of financial issues in the branches of the Company. Advising on the solutions.
• Prepare Dutch VAT reporting for the company
• Prepare annual accounts for the company under IFRS or Dutch GAAP, including branches
• Prepare the reporting package under IFRS
• Direct interaction with finance teams in regions and with corporate finance team in Moscow
• Participation in the closing process for the Group
• Assume other special activities and responsibilities under the direction of the Director of the company or Group Financial Controller

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:

• 4+ accounting experience, preferably in a construction related environment
• BA/BS/Master in Accounting or equivalent
• ACCA/CPA or equivalent is preferred
• Experience in project accounting
• Experience with letters of credit is preferred
• International accounting experience is preferable
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication, people, project management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects, effectively prioritize and meet deadlines
• Highly motivated, creative, articulate, results oriented
• Ability to build the processes from the scratch
• Ability to build contacts within big organization
• Experience in preparation of Dutch annual accounts
• Experience in preparation of Dutch VAT return is preferable
• Strong experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• English language required, Russian and Dutch - preferred
