HR Manager

Job profile HR Manager

We are looking for a talented, dynamic HR manager to lead our European HR team which serves over 500 employees in 30 locations across 12 countries. The manager will work with business sponsors to prioritize and implement process and programs to advance our European HR function. Collaborate with management team to ensure compensation programs are driving appropriate behaviors and rewarding desired outcomes. Integrate a current awareness of social, cultural, economic and legal requirements to ensure compliance, organizational effectiveness and human capital maximization within the organization. Advance and support succession/talent planning process. The manager will be expected to be able to both delegate projects and accountability to the team as well as lead their own projects. Liaise with our global HR organization to adapt existing processes and programs to our unique European needs. Allocate resources based on business sponsor approval and manage cost center accordingly.

Requirements HR Manager

  • HR Management - 3+ years
     Broad HR management experience to include compensation, benefits, employee relations and recruiting.
     Solid understanding of European labor laws.
  • People Development / Leadership
    o Minimum of 6 years of advancing HR experience.
    o Minimum of 3 years direct supervisory experience of HR professionals in the following areas:
     Developing HR policies and practices.
     Management of Performance Reviews
     Motivational and teambuilding experience
    o Supervising employees goals, objectives and accountabilities
  • Communication
    o Ability to effectively share knowledge and experience.
    o Actively listens and discusses subjects freely.
    o Clear verbal and written communication.
    o Clear and effective presentation skills
  • Understanding of Organizational Design Theory
  • Education – University degree in HR or Management.
  • Collaborative outlook and aptitude
  • Fluent English – French or German can be an advantage
  • Open to travel

    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a decentralized organization.
  • Master’s Degree in HR.
  • Background working in a global organization.
  • Some experience in recruitment.
