We are looking for an International Sales Representative with proven commercial skills and a perfect knowledge of the German and English language who has the ambition to grow into the position of Sales Manager Germany.

Location: Wormerveer (Amsterdam)

Your position
As a Sales Representative you will operate in the centre of the sales process and work closely with the Sales Managers and Customer Service department. You are a key player in the sales process, so you have many contacts with other departments such as supply chain management, finance and transportation. The key tasks are administratively and commercially oriented and consist of making offers, negotiating by telephone with buyers, contracting and maintaining contracts. You and your colleagues are the commercial heart of the organization. Generally spoken the first point of contact with the customers is through the Sales Representative. You report to the BOE Business Unit Manager and are based in the headquarters in Wormerveer.

We are looking for a candidate with the ambition and growth potential towards the position of Sales Manager Germany, which will be the initial focus of this position. You will have the unique opportunity to grow into the position of Sales Manager Germany within a period of one year. This will be the result of dedicated ongoing in house mentoring and training. Hence there is a strong preference for someone of German descent.

Requirements International Sales Representative at Loders Croklaan

  • Training at bachelor level, preferably in the commercial field;
  • Excellent commercial skills;
  • Affinity with the raw material industries;
  • Perfect knowledge of the German and English language is required, French is an advantage;
  • Experience with MS Office and SAP is an advantage;
  • Several years experience in a similar position is preferred;
  • You have a passion for customers, selling is in your DNA and you're a good negotiator;
  • You are a self starter, highly motivated and you see opportunities, act quickly and are a deal closer;
  • You're independent as well as a good team player;
  • Proactive attitude, not a 9 to 5 mentality.
