• Install and configure new Environments;
• Upgrades and patches;

• Degree in IT;
• Should have between 1 to 3 years managing Oracle Databases preferably on Unix platforms;
• Knowledge of Backup oracle backup strategies;
• Use of export and import utilities;
• Database upgrade/migration;
• UNIX shell scripting;
• Should have good communication, customer facing and relationship building skills;
• Basic Oracle databases administrative tasks;
• SQL and PL/SQL;
• How to install the Oracle software and database;
• Create new databases and databases upgrades;
• How to configure a network so that clients can access databases;
• Managing initialization parameters;
• Management of the database's storage structure;
• Managing tables, indexes, and other schema objects.
