Job purpose
The role ensures that marketing plans are aligned to and effectively implemented against the agreed business strategy for the countries you have responsibility for. This will involve the creation and delivery of plans to raise the company profile and generate leads direct and marketing activity delivered in conjunction with channel partners.
Initially the role will be to support the diverse activities across Europe, including Benelux, Italy, France, Russia and former CIS plus Brazil.
Job responsibilities
- Create and deliver local country marketing initiatives to support the Marketing and Country business plan, including webinar/seminar programs, conferences and exhibitions, usergroups, advertising and PR. (direct and in conjunction with channel partners)
- Provide creative and innovative input into regional and global Marketing Projects, at times initiating and delivering effective and innovative Product and Services led campaigns, for use globally, working with the Corporate Marketing team. (direct and in conjunction with channel partners)
- Tailoring corporate campaigns and messages to local market needs ensuring local marketing communication investment is effective and can demonstrate tangible return on investment.
- Ensuring that your country markets are fully supported with collateral (translated and customised as required), and the necessary sales enablement tools are in place and up to date.
- Marketing Leads pipeline management and liaison with sales and telesales in particular - ensuring strong lead volumes and opportunity conversion ratios are high. Both direct sales leads and leads to be directed at channel partners.
- Deliver regular management reports to Head of Global Marketing and Local Country Management to demonstrate progress against plans and in particular demonstrating the health of the marketing leads funnel and the tangible return on marketing expenditure.
- Proactively support the company wide customer advocacy program by production of regular Case Studies, War stories and customer success stories.
- Competitor analysis - Track and analyse territory specific competition as well as agreed global competitors to ensure sales efforts are positioned well against the competition.

- Liaising closely with Director of Marketing and Country Manager to steer strategy and secure plan and project budget sign off.
- To report regularly to Country Management and Director of Marketing on KPI's and effectiveness scores (Marketing ROI's from campaign investment).
- Ensure you act as an effective communication channel between the Global Marketing function and local sales teams so they are fully briefed on both local and global marketing initiatives.
