In the role of Senior Sales Manager Retail you are responsible for development of the Retail Sales channel on a Pan European basis; from both a strategic and operational level.
Main Responsibilities:
- Development of PE and local sales strategies and operational improvement programs within Retail.
- Retail sector comprises of the following:
- Client’s own stores
- Shop in Shop concepts
- Franchise stores
- 3rd Party Retailers
- Kiosks (Own & 3rd party)
- Establish PE dash board for Retails sales metrics to monitor and evaluate sales results and establish PE benchmark capability.
- Work together with Marketing in creating and developing promotions/campaigns to drive sales to new and existing customers.
- Evaluate training programs for internal sales staff, external 3rd party call center staff, field representatives and retail partners.
- Operate with high level of autonomy while keeping clear channels of communication, direction and critical issues funneled through the organization management teams.
- Monitor and evaluate competitor activity and develop strategies/campaigns to protect market share.
Essential Functions:
- Developing strategic and tactical sales plans and forecast for all sales channels to drive new customer sales and increasing sales to the existing customer base.
- Work with countries on developing the successful launch on new product initiatives and promotions.
- Delivering sales by developing relationships with strategic delivery partners.
- Manage and drive external 3rd party relationships both commercially and operationally to drive sales.
- Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets.
- Optimizing remuneration levels for sales staff by developing and creating incentive plans to drive both sales and motivation.
- Work together with marketing on developing key promotional plans and campaigns by sales channel.
- Increasing market share in existing markets and maximize new business development opportunities.
- Achieving targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth.
- Develop strategic plans for new acquisition of customer growth by channel of acquisition.
