The Netherlands saw an average 3.5 percent increase in home prices compared to a year earlier. In September, the home prices went up at its strongest pace since April 2008. This was made known by Kadaster (The Land Registry) and the Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (Statistics Netherlands, CBS).

AMSTERDAM – Employers do not offer their workers enough room to improve their position within the organization. This became clear from research performed by Effectory , over 300,000 workers were interviewed.
57 percent of workers score their possibility to better their position with a unsatisfactory mark and the opportunity for promotion scored 4.9 on average. In addition, there is also too little focus on career development (5.6) and educational training (5.0). Employment in the horticultural sector and its suppliers has remained fairly stable over the period 2005-2010. There were 125 thousand jobs in 2010 versus 126 thousand in 2005.
