Our dynamic, pioneering international client is a global leader in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturing and marketing some exciting brands Our client is also a well-known innovator and supplier of store brand solutions for the retail and food service markets across various food and nutritional categories. Products are manufactured in the USA, Mexico, and Amsterdam and are distributed throughout North Central and South America, Europe, Middle-East and the Pacific Rim.

Recent Acquisition and growth has created a new position of Brand Manager to manage and develop a key brand in EMEA. The Brand Manager will support the Marketing & Category Director in the following areas: management, planning, and execution of both short and long-term business and marketing initiatives for the franchise.


- Leading the deployment of the brand strategy in the EMEA region
- Championing the marketing flywheel framework as growth engine for the brand
- Supporting the global expansion strategy and launching the brand in new markets across EMEA
- Preparing and launching new brand propositions and formats in current markets
- Amplifying the Global Brand Essence through regional executions of global platforms
- Leading the cross-agency team in executing the brand marketing plans across the region including mass communications, digital and social platforms, public relations, healthcare professional outreach as well as in-store/trade executions
- Be the voice of the brand (strategy) to the sales team, distributors and customers – attend key customer meetings, trade shows, etc.
- Leveraging category management to deliver brand expectations and maximize in-store conversion

This role is based in Amsterdam and will require 20-30% travel.

Job requirements Brand Manager, FMCG EMEA

- Successful completion of a marketing study at HBO+ level
- Relevant work experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods environment, preferably in an international setting and/or in similar categories
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in brand marketing and/or product management with proven results in building a young ‘challenger’ brand
- Must be fluent in Dutch and English. Fluency in German or French is a plus.
- Being self-starting and thriving within a fast-paced, highly developing business context
- Great communication and organization skills, being able to lead cross-functional teams
- Eager to engage in customer/distributor interactions as a means to develop brand and business
- Proven skills in business analytics, consumer research and category management tasks
