Our client, a global IT services provider with offices in Amsterdam is urgently seeking a

Cloud Sales Executive

The Business Solutions Cloud Sales Executive will focus on companies and opportunities who may benefit from their Cloud Service products. This sales professional will be the most experienced team member on virtualized computing products, storage and distributed applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prospect and identify opportunities focused around Cloud Solutions.
• Educate and assist prospects and understanding Cloud Solutions and how they will integrate into the prospects current environment and future IT plans.
• Work with Sales Engineering to make sure prospects specific needs regarding cloud environments are met and optimized.
• Provide prospects with detailed quotes regarding cloud opportunities and work with sales engineering to make sure clients’ specific needs are being addressed.
• Follow up with any cloud opportunities that have been presented by the Sales Executive on a timely and consistent basis.
• Use Salesforce CRM software to set up prospects and leads.
• Work with Channel Partners on large or complex opportunities to evaluate prospect needs, produce and provide quotes and work with Channel Partner on any communications with prospects.
• Educate specific channel partners on cloud products including how to identify opportunities, provide education to prospects and partners regarding cloud products and offer case studies and best use practices regarding products.
• Understand the marketplace and continually review competitive products and offerings and work with the Vice President of Products regarding the product mix.

Job requirements Cloud sales Executive

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 – 7 years of business to business sales experience.
• 3 – 5 years of IT focused sales experience.
• Detailed training or experience with virtualization applications including VMWare, Citrix and open source solutions.
• Experience or training with Microsoft Office applications including Work, Excel & Power Point.
• Team focused attitude and a willingness to help other team members with technical information. regarding cloud and virtualization products.
• Past experience or a detailed working understanding of SalesForce CRM software.
• Ability to use basic Microsoft Office Suite software.
• Strong ability to manage their own time and schedule.
• Ability to maintain an opportunity pipeline and complete all sales process requirements.
• Ability to move prospects forward in the buying process and close opportunities.
• Strong work ethic focused on producing daily and weekly results.
• Understanding of individual prospecting including telephone, e-mail and social media skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Excellent telephone communication and prospecting skills.
• A team focused attitude.
