We provide international customer services for Sony PlayStation, a global leader in interactive and digital entertainment.

What you need to do in return? Well…you need to effectively use your excellent customer service skills, provide assistance with customers` inquiries over the phone and advise them on different products. Are you a good fit? :)

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Proficiency in Dutch;
  • Good English skills;
  • Previous experience of/ or aptitude for Customer Service;
  • Good organizational skills;
  • A working knowledge of MS Word/Excel;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm in all situations;
  • Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure in order to achieve deadlines and KPI’s;
  • Ability to adapt to a continuously changing environment and procedures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / BENEFITS:

  • To respond to all customers’ enquiries within given timescales, efficiently and effectively;
  • To develop and maintain a full technical knowledge of client products and services;
  • To be able to recognize when a problem or query should be transferred to another department or a more senior member of staff;
  • To deal with all correspondence as requested/required;
  • To accurately log all calls and in line with procedures;
  • To responsibly maintain and update all job-related administrative forms;
  • To consult product manuals, to be able to advise customer of appropriate options/solutions.

Please note the following conditions, including the technical requirements for working with us. This includes the computer, the Internet, the phone, the headset and the home office equipment.

Computer
We provide you with a computer, which is specially prepared for your work with SYKES@Home.
In addition, you will provide you with two monitors with a minimum resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels.
You will need to have a cable for VGA, HP Display portor HDMI as well as a headset (earphone with microphone) with two 3,5mm phone jacks.

Internet
In order to connect your computer, we provide the necessary systems, you need an Internet connection with the following:
Broadband connection (DSL, VDSL or cable connection, no Internet radio or satellite)
Downstream at least 16 Mbit / s
Upstream at least 1 Mbit / s
Internet router with a free network connection for our computer
Telephone Connection

Working at SYKES@Home, you will get an analog telephone with headset.
You will need: 

  • Landline with a free line / number for the job at SYKES@Home 
  • A free port (F-connector or RJ11) for our phone 
  • Note that you cannot make private phone calls on this line / call while working for SYKES@Home
