Experienced web developer

Description Experienced web developer

Do you have several years experience as a web developer and are you proactive and a good communicator? Looking for an interesting new work environment? Then we certainly have that for you! With an increasing number of clients and growing demand for our BPM solution, we are facing many technical and functional challenges. You would be welcome to join us.

First some introduction...

From our pleasant, open office in Funenpark in Amsterdam, we provide our clients with web-based solutions, mainly in the field of process management. Our complement of twenty men and one woman is divided across three in-house development teams and a Managed Services team. We work on the basis of Consultancy Scrum & Lean, with two Project Owners who keep it all on the right track. Familiar names in our customer base are, to name a few, Bol.com, Reed Elsevier and Nationale Nederlanden. For process management related projects we use Valtimo, our own product.

Ritense is an open, dynamic and informal organisation. There is a pleasant, collaborative and professional working atmosphere in which everyone is always ready to help each other. The good cooperation and understanding provides the foundation for delivering high quality to our customers. Individual input is highly valued. We don’t think in boxes and you are not a 'number' in a large organisation; you are completely free to apply your skills and interests in the implementation of projects. We believe in working on the premises; short lines of communication and being able to sit all together are important to our working method. But occasional home-working is certainly possible.

At lunch-time we set the table and have lunch together. There’s regularly something tasty or a bowl of soup. We have company outings several times a year. These vary from eating out to indoor skydiving, escape rooms, barbecues, etc. We also have ‘Workations’. A week together in a villa in Spain, for example, where we work some of the time but spend the rest of it enjoying the beach, sun, sea and sights. In short, it’s fun working for Ritense!

Our technical ingredients: service architecture, Java, Angular, RabbitMQ, Camunda / BPMN, Docker, Jenkins and AWS.

For our office in Amsterdam we are looking for an experienced web developer (32-40 hours per week) to produce in-house high-quality applications for our customers as a member of one of our Agile/Scrum development teams.
