Do you have 2 years of experience as an Account Manager and affinity and/or interest in Law? The International Group, a division within Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory is looking for an International Account Manager. In this role you will be responsible for managing the larger accounts in the DACH region and Scandinavia. Your customers are large law firms and corporates as well as academic and governmental organizations

You fully understand your customer needs and you are capable of translating those into business opportunities with new and existing clients. You have a proven track record as a sales professional being able to open new doors and close deals. You are responsible for managing your customers and prospects in several European countries. Your aim is to grow and maintain the commercial results by selling online legal content and solutions to the designated markets. You are a professional and serious partner to your customers across different cultures and able to create a position as consultant with your clients.

Our product line includes market-leading services, such as Kluwer Arbitration, Kluwer Competition Law and Kluwer IP Law, and Kluwer International Tax Law. Our online services are used globally by law firms, corporate counsel, universities and other professionals requiring legal and compliance information.

Tasks / Responsibilities

  • Sales Activity

Based upon set targets, you are responsible for the sales strategy and results in your territory on retention and new business sales. You maximize opportunities using the complete International Group portfolio, including new product launches.

  • Account Management

You create and execute on your own sales strategy analyzing different customer types (retention and new business sales), market dynamics, product types and sales approaches.

  • Market insights & Customer Feedback

You generate market insights and customer feedback in order to improve the portfolio or create new business opportunities.

  • Sales performance management

You use the CRM to manage your sales calls, feedback, contacts and pipeline activity as well as creating proposals, e-mails and presentations for your customers according to company guidelines and set targets.

Requirements International Account Manager

Education & Experience

  • University or HBO degree (preferably with law degree)
  • 2 -4 years of experience as Field Sales Account Manager selling digital solutions and or products in a B2B environment is preferred
  • Experienced in working with commercial targets and bonus structures
  • Fulltime availability

  • Working independently with an entrepreneurial attitude in an international environment;
  • Responding to customer inquiries and improve/maintain the relationship;
  • Analyzing (CRM) data and identifying ways to improve performance;
  • Integrating information from multiple sources;
  • Giving presentations to varied audiences using various communication channels;
  • Manage sales performance according to KPI’s and targets;
  • Report sales strategy, activity, pipeline management and results from the territory and create strategies to expand the business;
  • Team player with a focus on creating positive working relationships;
  • English language and at least one more language fluently (German, French, Spanish)
  • Experience with CRM software (specifically salesforce.com)
