Description Sales & Account Manager

The Sales & Account Manager assist and support the CEO in the profiling and selling POM’S events worldwide. The role requires extensive customer contact with the major focus being on cinema exhibitors (programming department and marketing department), local distribution partners and external marketing and PR agencies.

You’ll use your exceptional relationship building skills to develop and strengthen relationships with existing, new and lapsed clients. You’ll achieve growth and hit sales targets. Also, in tandem with the CEO, you will develop new markets.

Key responsibilities
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
• Achieve growth and hit sales targets
• Create and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base
• Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to management
• Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures
• Identify emerging markets and market shifts
• Analyze sales statistics
• Collate all necessary information for the purposes of client billing and the raising of invoices where appropriate.
• Support the marketing, production and distribution departments with their processes when required

Role related knowledge, skills, behaviors, qualifications and experience required
• Education & qualifications - Qualified to degree level or equivalent experience
• Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
• Strong business sense and industry expertise
• Previous experience of managing and coordinating multiple client demands
• In depth knowledge of the cinema industry
• Ability to provide first class customer service in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
• Good IT skills
• Experience using multiple databases/operating systems
• High level of Excel proficiency
• Self-starter who can work independently

This role is based in Amsterdam and reports directly to the CEO
