Together Abroad is a nationwide partner of UWV for reintegration of mutilingual unemployed receiving the WW-benefits. It means that the candidates can choose to follow the IRO traject with Together Abroad.
If you are legally reside and work in the Netherlands you can enjoy the benefits of Dutch Social security system. When you lost your job check if you are subject to the Unemployment Insurance Act (WW).
The WW insures employees, who lost their jobs, against the financial consequences of unemployment. In order to be able to apply for the WW, you need to face 2 criteria:
If you meet only the first criteria you are entitled to three months of ww-benefit. The first two months your benefit will conduct 75 % of your last wage before you lost your job with the maximum of € 177,03 gross per day. During the third month your benefit will be 70%.
If you meet both criteria you will keep receiving 70%. The duration of this benefit is decided by UVW and will depend on different criteria, you age, risc group, employment history, etc. It cannot exceed however 38 months etc.
If you have been receiving the WW-benefits for 12 months after you lost your job you are entitled to the so-called IRO (Individual Reintegration Agreement).
