Interview tip: What is your greatest strength?

One of the most popular questions in a interview is “What is your greatest strength?” or “what are your strengths?”. The answer to this question will give the interviewer an idea of your personality and capability to perform the job offered. There is no right or wrong answer as soon as you give positive strengths related in some way to the position.
It is strongly recommended to prepare the answer to this question beforehand. It has to sound credible and you have to be ready to give some examples that support the credibility of your strength/s. Prepare a maximum of three strengths for your interview.
When preparing this question, think what would be the most interesting for the interviewer to hear about you, and for the position.

• Fast learner
• Strong leader
• Creative
• Communicative
• Good team player
• Initiative
• Good working with deadlines
• Determination
• Problem solver
• Flexible
• Attention to detail
• Good with a related skill for the job (programming, customer service…)
• Good people skills
• Ability to help influence change
• Good at finding ways to improve existing business processes
• Good at resolving conflict

Make sure you have a story to tell and demonstrate that your strength has been used to improve the results. Of course try to not sound too full of yourself.
