Amendments to the proposed changes to the 30% ruling
On 17 November 2011 a bill was passed to change the 30% ruling legislation. The most significant change is that a salary norm must now be met to prove scarcity on the labour market. Following criticism, the basic income requirement for the 30% ruling has now been set at 50,000, rather than the proposed increase to 70,000.
