Economist

Responsibilities:

  • Assistance in the development of new strategies and programs to achieve the organization's goals
  • Research on, among others, the organization's current efficiency, products/services and market as a whole
  • Analysis, evaluation and interpretation of the economic data and statistics to uncover relationships and trends
  • Subsequent preparation of forecasts on economic trends
  • Recommendation of ways to improve efficiency
  • Delivery of presentations about the findings to facilitate decision-making throughout the organization

Requirements:

  • Degree in business/economics or related field, preferably including both microeconomics and macroeconomics
  • At best, practical experience in a similar position
  • High affinity to statistical information and conducting research
  • Talent to communicate complex results in an understandable way for people from different positions within the organization
  • Ability to work accurately under time-pressure 
  •  Ability to prioritize different tasks
