Risk Manager Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Provision of advice about avoidance of risk and protection of the organization's existence
  • Monitoring and evaluation of risks as well as preparation of reports to the superiors
  • Implementation of prevention measures
  • Management of the organization's insurances
  • Creation of plans to control costs, prepare intervention measures etc.
  • Implementation of information systems to increase the risk awareness within the organization

Requirements

  • Degree in business/economics or any other related field
  • At best, practical experience in a risk management position
  • Good understanding of insurances
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes
  • Good decision-making and problem-solving sills 
  •  Analytical skills
