The Hague Academy of International Law, located on the premises of the Peace Palace in The Hague, is seeking a French- and English-speaking Registration and General Affairs Officer to join its Secretariat.
The Officer works under the supervision of the Secretary-General and the Deputy Secretary-General for Administrative Affairs, with the aim of taking charge of administrative and secretarial tasks and contributing to the organisation of the Academy’s programmes and events.
Main tasks:
• Manages the full registration process for the Academy’s programmes, including the assessment of applications and the preparation of standardised communications;
• Acts as the main administrative point of contact for participants and ensures timely and professional communication;
• Assists with mass communications, database set-up and maintenance, website updates, and the preparation of programme materials;
• Provides general administrative support to the Secretariat, notably for the organization of its programmes and activities, including office management and participant-related assistance;
• Carries out any other administrative tasks deemed necessary.

The monthly gross salary, based on the institution’s salary scale, is €3,330 gross for a 36-hour workweek.
