The job market is changing rapidly. Some professions disappear while others rise like a tide, like the Work Happiness Expert. The National Professions Guide listed a number of future jobs in a row. It involves the development of existing professions as well as the creation of new ones.

Personal Leadership

The Work Happiness Expert, according to the National Action Guide, is a consultant, a manager or an officer, who focuses on increasing the perception of happiness in the workplace. He/she does this is by giving workshops and (team) coaching focusing on personal leadership and giving inspiration sessions.

In addition, he/she shares knowledge and insights on happy work, or implementing his/her tools or systems that can track the happiness experience of the workers. The Work Happiness Expert has been seen in several manifestations in the labour market, from external advisor to chief happiness officer.

Chief Recruitment Officer

Within the HR industry, recruiter is the profession that showed most growth, according to the National Action Guide. The recruitment specialist can occur in several forms, such as the aforementioned recruiter. But what is striking is that the Chief Recruitment Officer begins to make its debut. Recruitment begins increasingly to be an important part in organizations in view of the increasing complexity of attracting the right staff. Therefore, the recruitment specialist will need to have more to offer than what is today asked from the recruiter.

Development Coach

A Development Coach focuses on the personal and professional development of employees or clients. A Development Coach comes in different forms, for example as a career coach. It also includes the management coaches, mentors and other professional coaches under this function.

“The core of his or her approach is to help the client or employee with change of behaviour. Thefocus is on the personal or professional welfare of the client, among other things by listening to the client in order to understand the personal problems, and then transfer these insights”, said the National Action Guide.

Contract Specialist

Not surprisingly, it is the time of freelance specialists. The National Action Guide is seeing future growth in the number of interim professionals who are working for the employers on a project for a period of time. Next to thierown professional expertise, the freelancer will also need to develop himself/herselfin the acquisition of customers, so he/she also needs these qualities before he/she can go into this type of employment.
