Frequently asked questions

As a victim of a work accident am I entitled to compensation from my employer?

If you have suffered damage to your health, you may claim compensation from your employer. This is also possible when it comes to property damage. In this situation you should seek legal help.

A claim is dealt with in a civil trial. The court shall rule on the matter. Please contact Legal Aid for advice, and you can also consult the conflict resolution guide of the Legal Aid Board. Here you can read what legal assistance you can make use of.

You can use the report that the Social Affairs Inspectorate has made to support your damage claim. If an official report has been made that can be obtained, under conditions, from the Inspectorate SZW.
