Mechel Service Global B.V.

Mechel Service Global B.V. is an international steel trader which specializes in selling rolled products manufactured by Mechel Group’s enterprises and other producers to ultimate customers. The company has representative offices in 15 countries. It currently comprises the Russian-based Mechel Service company, subsidiaries in Eastern and Western Europe, Turkey and Kazakhstan. The company’s headquarters, based in The Hague, is the operational management focus of the entire service and sales network.

Mechel Service OOO (Russia) accounts for some 65% of Mechel Service Global’s sales. It conducts sales through its own warehouse network which has subdivisions in 50 of Russia’s largest cities. The remaining sales are conducted through subsidiaries based in over 60 cities in 14 countries. Every subdivision has storage facilities and equipment to process steel products.

Mechel Service Global’s strategic aim is to expand markets for Mechel Group’s steel products, ensure a stable load for production facilities and increase the range of service operations with steel products.

The company’s chief customers are construction and machine-building enterprises.
