The Hague Student Union: Smart workshops for international students
The Hague Student Union organizes two smart workshops for international students on the 26th of April 2012. These smart workshops will provide relevant information for international students in regard to the participation in voluntary projects and on how to find a job in The Netherlands during or after your study.
The workshops will grant a unique opportunity for international students to learn more about the possibilities of contributing to the Dutch society, specifically The Hague for its international character. Volunteer work not only looks good on your CV, but it also increases your chances on the Dutch labour market. Through volunteer work you will expand your network, learn new skills and get thoroughly familiar with the Dutch culture.
The ‘volunteering’ workshop will be given by ‘Stichting Present & Den Haag Cares’ and the ‘how to find a job’ workshop will be presented by ‘Together Abroad’. Issues like: the current situation on the labour market, the participation in voluntary projects and your CV according to Dutch standards will be some of many subjects of the day. Both workshops are extremely beneficial for international students who want to (know how to) engage in extracurricular activities.
So be there on the 26th of April in the ’foyer’ of The Hague University!
